ONVIF

There are several different ways how the IP camera can be connected to connected IP cameras to VXG Cloud:

  1. Camera Finder Windows application - the desktop app that finds and configures IP cameras in your local network. Learn more in this article.

  2. ONVIF protocol - cameras can be connected directly using the ONVIF protocol, but this requires port forwarding on your router. Find guidelines in this article.

  3. VXG Cloud Streamer app - only if you have received the app from the VXG team. The guide can be found in this article.

  1. Using a camera plug-in. Please find a list of supported cameras here.

  2. Via ONVIF protocol. A camera should support the ONVIF protocol and H.264 compresson.

  3. Using VXG Camera Finder application. It will either install a plug-in on a camera or assist with connection using ONVIF.
