The Cloud VMS comes with a template of for a fully functional, white-label VSaaS servicevideo surveillance as a service (VSaaS) product, including full source code. It can be used for fast and easy integration or as a reference code. Customer’s can customize features and the UI (user interface) by building the solution using the template or using VXG’s help.

The VSaaS template connects Authentication services, User & Camera management (authorization) back-end, and Web & Mobile front-ends. It utilizes uses Firebase for authentication and a simple PHP + Postgresql backend for authorization (linking users to cameras).

This is the fastest and easiest path to a complete, customized cloud VSaaS, fully under your brand, control and ownership. The template provides everything you need to build a custom branded, world-class VSaaS product.

The Web front-end and Mobile apps come fully white-label with full source code.

Web Client

The web client has all standard video management software (VMS) functionality. This includes video viewing, recording, playback, events, controlling cameras, video analytics and more.

The Web Client UI has the following pages:

  • Home

  • Users

  • Cameras

  • Activity

  • Archive

The Home page contains a summary of information about your video surveillance operations: a list of cameras, events, and results of AI processing.

By clicking on a selected camera, it is easy to switch to live view, view recorded video, or review camera events. When viewing the camera in the video player, you can manage the camera and video feed, including scrubbing/scrolling, dragging timeline(frame-by-frame playback back and forward), dewarping, digital zoom and PTZ, export/share video, add notes, archive video, and more.

The Users page contains a list of all users. Here, you can add or remove users, and grant access to selected cameras.

The Cameras section is the main page for management and viewing cameras. There are 3 main modes:

  • List view

  • Grid view

  • Map view

In the list view, you can see all cameras, change settings, and configurations.

There are 3 grid view modes: 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4 modes. The cameras can be assigned to each of the modes by simple drag-and-drop.

In the map view, you can see your cameras on a street map or indoor map.

On the Cameras page, you can add new cameras by clicking on “Add Camera” and then selecting the way you would like to connect.

 

The Activity page shows all your events from your cameras. By clicking on a selected event, you can review the video associated with it. 

The Archive page contains a list of all archived (saved) clips. The archived clips are extracted from recorded video and stay in the storage forever or until they are manually deleted.

An archived clip can have a description and a case name/number associated with it for easy search.

Progressive Web app 

The Web Client can be “installed” on your PC, Mac, or mobile device as a Progressive Web application by clicking on the “install” button in your browser window:

This will create an icon on your desktop or on your mobile device screen. By clicking on that icon, the application will be launched without a web browser and will look like a native application.

 

Mobile apps 

Mobile applications for Android and iOS are published on Google Play and The App Store. The applications have similar functionality to the Web client but use native Android and iOS controls to provide a better mobile user experience.
