Router Setup with GoodCloud
Setup Device
Plug in power cable
Connect local device (laptop or desktop) to the GLiNET using Ethernet into the LAN port.
Connect to router @ http://192.168.8.1 in browser
Follow instructions in browser
a. Choose your preferred language.b. Set password
Connect GLiNET to network using WAN port
Setup Goodcloud
Navigate to APPLICATIONS > GoodCloud in GLiNET Web page
Enable GoodCloud, Enable Remote Web Access, Set data server. Then agree to the Terms of Service and click Apply.
Copy and send Device info from this page to the VXG team.
Basic Router Setup
Connect GL.iNET router to power using the provided Micro USB cable.
Connect the Ethernet cable from your internet router to the WAN port on the GL.iNET router.
Connect your local computer to the GL.iNET router either
by WiFi using GL.iNET access point “GL-MT300N-…”, or
by Ethernet using the LAN port on GL.iNET router.
Navigate to the admin page located at the address 192.168.8.1.
Choose your preferred language.
Set password.
Verify the firmware version that the GL.iNET device has installed by navigating to http://192.168.8.1/#/upgrade.
The version that should be installed is 4.3.7.
You can upgrade your device to version 4.3.7 by downloading the firmware from GL.iNET’s firmware directory and performing a local upgrade.Navigate to Network > Network Mode and set the router to Access Point mode and click apply.
You should be able to access the router from within your network and no longer need to connect to it directly.
Verify that the device has internet access by using the device’s network diagnostics

Gateway Installation
Download the Gateway Package for GL.iNET.
Navigate to the software page of the Luci interface.
http://GLiNET-IP/cgi-bin/luci/admin/system/opkgMake sure to update your package list before installing the Uplink Packages.
Upload and install the uplink-gateway_<VERSION>_mipsel_24kc.ipk package from the downloaded GLiNET package.
Upload and install the luci-app-uplink-gateway_<VERSION>_all.ipk package from the downloaded GLiNET package.
Re-login to the Luci interface.
Adding Gateway to Cloud VMS
Add GL.iNET router as Uplink Camera to VMS Platform using GL.iNET server’s serial number and MAC Address.
The serial number and MAC address can be found on the back of the GL.iNET router
Adding Cameras:
Add Uplink Cameras to your Cloud VMS platform for each camera you are going to connect through the GL.iNET bridge. You’ll need the following information for each camera:
Camera username.
Camera password.
Camera serial number (should be printed on a camera)
Camera MAC address (should be printed on a camera)
Navigate to the plugin interface: http://GLiNET-IP/cgi-bin/luci/admin/services/cameraagent and then navigate to the Camera Config tab
After adding each camera to Cloud VMS, add the same camera serial number and MAC address into the Camera Form of the plugin’s interface, plus the local IP address of the camera. Make sure to enable each camera you want to add.
Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save & Apply.
Note. Default ports for IP Cameras are usually http: 80, rtsp: 554Then navigate to http://GLINET-IP/cgi-bin/luci/admin/services/cameraagent/control and click ‘Start Camera Agent’ to start the application.
