Connecting cameras
VXG connects cameras in a variety of ways. Cameras can be connected directly to the Cloud using VXG firmware plug-in or ONVIF. VXG also offers bridged connections using an on-prem server called Cloud NVR (Network Video Recorder) or Cloud Gateway.
Recording
VXG supports 3 types of storage:
Cloud storage.
On-prem Cloud NVR.
Camera SD card.
Regardless of the recording type, recorded video can be watched and managed through a single interface.
Processing
VXG pre-processes video and interfaces it with a variety of Video Analytics (VA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) engines. In addition to streaming video, the platform can produce images and clips based on needs of VA/AI engine.
