VPN site-to-site connection
VXG Cloud VMS can connect to cameras via VPN. This requires the following steps:
The client provides the following information:
Make and Model of local firewall or router (Gateway).
External IP address (Static).
CIDR of local internal network (Optional).
Internal Mask (Optional).
VXG configures VPN and provides the client with the Configuration Scripts.
The client applies the Configuration Script to their router/firewall.
Then cameras can be added as ONVIF cameras using VPN addresses, instead of public IP addresses
Click Add Camera.
Choose ONVIF.
Fill in the fields specifying the local IP for the camera etc.
Click Apply.
